How do I start a private reading?
Use any “Speak with Joy” or “Begin a Private Reading” button. The phone-session service opens in a separate tab, where you can check availability and follow its registration and payment instructions.
Do I need to be on camera?
No. Private readings are conducted by phone, so you can connect from a comfortable space without appearing on video.
What can I ask about?
Common topics include relationships, family, career direction, life transitions, grief, spiritual growth, and animal communication. You can bring a specific concern or ask for general spiritual guidance.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a spiritual practice commonly used to encourage relaxation and a sense of calm. Joy is a Certified Reiki Master and offers distance Reiki as part of her spiritual work. Reiki is complementary spiritual care and does not replace medical treatment.
What is chakra balancing?
Within spiritual traditions, chakras are understood as centers associated with different aspects of experience. Chakra balancing is a reflective energy practice intended to encourage a sense of grounding and inner balance.
The seven commonly described centers are the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. They are often associated with themes of security, creativity, confidence, compassion, expression, intuition, and connection.
What do intuition and mediumship mean?
Intuition refers to an inner sense or knowing. Mediumship describes a spiritual practice of seeking communication with those who have passed. These are spiritual beliefs and experiences; specific messages or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
What should I expect from spiritual guidance?
A private conversation held with compassion, respect, and discretion. Spiritual guidance supports reflection and personal choices. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.
